Now we're part of Royal London...

In 2013, Royal London Group acquired the Co-operative Insurance Society Limited (CIS) which then became Royal London (CIS) Limited. Royal London now looks after all of the life assurance, investment and pension businesses previously owned by the Co-operative Insurance Society. As a Co-operative customer you will have noticed very little change but you can be assured that we at Royal London will manage your policies and investments professionally and with care.

What does the move to the Royal London Group mean for me?

Moving to Royal London Group means that you are now part of the UK's largest mutual life and pensions company. We firmly believe our mutual status is of equal, if not greater, value today. With no shareholders looking for short-term profits or influencing our investment decisions, we are always working for the benefit of our customers.

Just so you know.....

  • The most important thing to know is that you don't need to do anything
  • The change doesn't affect your product's terms and conditions, your policy and/or investment will continue just as before.
  • If you pay your premium by direct debit or standing order, you don't need to tell your bank.
  • In due course you will start to see the Royal London name and logo on your letters and our websites and if you call us you can expect to hear our colleagues talking about Royal London.
